CubeFunder Case Study

Unable to offer funding to their client due to the length of time they’d been trading, Cubefunder knew they wanted to provide some alternative solutions rather than leave the client having to source funding themselves. They offered the client their branded Funder Finder link, who used it to register their details and upload supporting documents. This was immediately picked up by Tamara from our Commercial Finance Service Team. As there were several differing matched products available she picked up the phone to the client to talk about the choices and establish the best funders to approach. 

Having confirmed that obtaining the funding quickly was the most pressing factor, she was able to rule out funders that, in other circumstances would have been a great fit, and opted to send an enquiry to a funder that could provide start up funding in a timely manner. The chosen funder picked this up and, once in a position to decide which of their products was best suited to the client, presented the details to their underwriting team. Again, knowing speed was of the essence an offer was made, which was accepted and funds issued to the client, all within 4 working days.  

The client in this instance simply fell outside Cubefunder’s usual criteria due to time trading. By using the Funder Finder link, this gave the client a multitude of alternative opportunities. Being a branded link, the Funder Finder email communications to the client included Cubefunder’s name and logo, reinforcing their involvement, both during and after the successful funding had been put in place. Cubefunder were able to access their Funder Finder platform, see how the enquiry was progressing and could see that funding had been obtained. Having access to this information is invaluable as it means that when the client has built up a longer trading period, Cubefunder know they will be able to reach out to them and look to assist with future funding requirements they may have. The client also has full confidence in the fact that even if direct funding isn’t available, Cubefunder can be trusted to provide suitable options via the Funder Finder.
